How can natural phenomena affect tourism?

Chile is one of the most visited countries in South America, we receive at least 290 million of tourists a year who visit the different touristic attractions our country has. But this year, we suffered one of the greatest earthquakes in the world which destroyed many of the touristic attractions we had.

Do you think Chile will be considered a good place to visit?
Do you think we can create other ways of tourism after the earthquake?
