My opinion about the book is generally good, because the stories were the same sector, were short and not bored, also the teachings of stories. I seemed like a good book, because reflecting the reality of some people who represented the book. Not bored me that it is very good.

I think that "Land of my chilhood" is a good book, because in his pages we can imagine how is the life in South Asia, The stories are very descriptive and the lecture is easy. Page to page tell about the people of countries in South Asia, and i like
that are different from those we already know.
I like the images (drawins) in the book because are different and cute

The book I found it very good. In the first place the book tells facts real, thanks to this, the stories are more interesting. secondly, as are short stories are not so boring and that's good.
I found the book so entertaining and easy to understand in general, although in some parts the words had me confounded and needed dictionary, and this I did not like but I liked the book much.
Bedides that in the stories the characters are described very well.

My opinion about the book "land of my childhood" is that interesting book because the topic of the stories that relate is different and varied to all person him happen besides resemble at tale for before of sleep.
the book have simple and short stories as "memories" but have an help to think about the culture of South Asia and his reality.
I like book, because is easy of read and understand, and learn any of South Asia.

in my opinion I think the book is good q and showing us different stories where only some are more interesting than others, not as an ordinary book that has a plot in common if this is divided into short stories that vary their stories and characters in general I would recommend for people who like the challenge to the English

The book Land of my childhood, I found it ,very entertaining, to read it again, His stories are about events that happen to people in South Asia, is very descriptive and interesting, through the images made me easier to understand. It is a book that leaves different teachings , very applicable to our society.

*My opinion about the book is that I liked very much, because considers very interesting addition of have short stories. also the style of the small stories (or the book complete) I liked because the style from south asia I find very interesting. I think that each stories has one's own but my stories favorite is "Missiya, the Wild One".

My opinion about the book "Land of my childhood" is that is very interesting, because self learn of this small stories, that have values and leave one moral after of each end.
Besides this stories shown as is the life of other peoples, in special india.
when i read the book had word that i don`t known and i have that search in a diccionary.

I liked this book ("Land Of mY childhood") because have many things that entertain and it have many things that teach us lessons about the live, for example take desitions, mature, the importance of remembers, other point that I highlight is that this book is structured in many stories, and have simple words, but still develop good stories, its characters whit personal history of their lifes and these is related with all stories and the title of the book my favorite story is "Carapace", "The Night train to deoli", I would recomended this book because besides being a good read gives us more than only this.-

My opinion about the book is very good, because is different and it has few common stories.
The book it was very interesting, because it shows a real society, I liked the characters and the topics, also because was very original and I felt identified.
My favorite story was Step Mother, because was very sad and emotional.
For me, we must read more books, and I will recommened this.

My opinion about the book "Land of my childhood" is very positive.
I am very happy with this initiative we are proposing this year for English.
Although at first no one wanted to read the book little by little we realized that reading in English will learn many things (including extending the vocabulary).
With regard to the stories caught my attention this book because all the stories focus on everyday experiences and all have a meaning.
Teacher continue this initiative is very good ...

In some way the book was very interestin for me, because shows a huge variety of topics in each chapters, showing a reality, which let us a good impression about the different topics, like education, unity in the family, love, the fight for bein an important person in society, so on.
Because of this, the book was a way to analyze our behave.
But, by the other hand, I didn't liked this book, because it shows a lot of stories' variety, that in the end neither of them had a conclussion.
But in general it was good.

ndFor me this book was more than just that, because with it I could learnt more words and also I could know how different people from different countries lives. I liked a lot, because the book's stories shows the way of life of people in countries like Sirilanka, and thanks that I learnt the way of life and culture in there.
I could understand the importance of the value of the family, because in each stories one of the most important things was the unity between the family’s members and also those stories shows and tell us that distance doesn’t separate the love that every person feels for each other.
I also liked how the book was told, because it was easy to understand. However in some cases it was kind of hard to see or realized the real story behind the book.
By the other hand, I will read it again, because it feels good to see that even in far away countries exist people living in a different way than us, but with the same problems and difficulties, so thinking in that way we can feel identified and understand in a better way what the character is living or had lived.
For all of this I totally recommended this book.

I really liked the book, because the stories are varied and innovative ,have different realities , and brings us closer to what life is like in India, besides, the stories have lessons of life, eg : the history to inpector, which leaves us teaching of that: no matter where they study the persons, if not, the quality of the student .I found the book very entertaining.

-my opinion about the book is that is very awesome, because have a lot stories, of the daily life, that would happen.... like the stepmother, that the boy not want to his stepmother, because he saw her negatively and he don't want accept her, and other stories that have a reflexion, for every situations.
And was very interesting, I seemed a good book. where I learn to know different situations that not see all days.

The book "land of my childhood" it seems very interesting to me because the stories that are related show different aspect of the daily life with which we can identify us and get some teaching, since each story besides of tell the experiences of the characters, leaves a moral related with the values that everybody has had or has experience in the life like the love,unity, respect,tolerance, sincerity, etc. Besides through the tale we can know the culture of other countries, the custom, some words of the language, etc., and allow us increase our knowledge.

The book “Land of my childhood” in my opinion some of the stories they were interesting , others were not it, but in general no I like the book, because no I like the books that have different story, I like the books that just have one story, and that be entertaining, moving, realist, also that they show situation of the present time.
But the story that more I like was “The Stepmother”, because show the prejudice of a boy towards his stepmother, much children believe that the stepmothers are bad and cruel, but this story shows the opposite. As the boy us also we are prejudice in others aspect, we judge before of know.
