In general the book contains great stories, stories that go beyond for example takes care to a pigeon sick.
My favorite story is that of the pigeon, because Jan even though it was New Year takes care to the pigeon and I take a walk under his coat and during the ride he remembered so to speak the past. All that was lost his wife and his daughter mainly, with the pigeon in your coat he feel as if was hugging her daughter that after camp Jan then went for but not found. Open your eyes and saw she was hugging the pigeon.
Well, I chose this story because somehow the meeting as a story that many people will perhaps could have happened only that part in which the Jews were carried. Besides my choose went for the fact that it was for some people a reality, went also my choose because was the most understanding and pick up a sick pigeon is rarely seen because it requires an act of kindness as the title of the book. that was the reason for my choice

my favorite character is marina because she did things that need courage, those characters are call my atention.
in my opinion the best story is "the day I met Sean Connery" marine does crazy things to get to talk with sean, this is it gives more emotion to the story, I like that the main character was not a coward, that he given the opportunity to talk with sean, is totally fantasy but that's what I like.

the book was great, but a most be so tedious.
my favorite story was "the day i met sean connery", because .. so would i. is a great story, because she like that actor (a little), and did what could, for see him, it´s so risky, but she just try (she "did", what i always wanted to do).
... And "the pigeon", because understanding and was some "complex"; it´s so deep, because jan remember her child and wife (lost in a 2° world war)per pigeon, finally the pigeon dies.

My favorite character is Marina, becose she is a woman whit a great personality, in addition she can do the impossible to get their objectives and that was almost see Sean Connery, is a played woman.
My favorite story is The pigeon, becose is a story with feeling, Jan stops seeing the pigeon like an animal, and sees her as a person, beautiful story :)

history of the pigeon I found very beautiful as you leave the teaching to be helping others and the needy, jan gesture was very kind and good of course.

I liked the confession as I found it very funny and made me laugh a lot in the novel, the naivete of youth drug depositing in a dump and then telling them to call a bar where the drug was not knowing who gave the information.

My favorite personage of the history is marine because since it does everything for obtaining what you want it risks to the challenges that wait for him, has a great personality to be able to speak with a star. The history that mas I like me was it of pigeon since it teaches many values to us and makes us realize that everything we are equal and is a very beautiful history that leaves us like with a knot in the throat

My favorite character is MARINA as does everything to get what you want you risk challenges, has a great personality, besides having courage to do things that tells one more aside from being the most interesting character I think of according to my perspective and was the most caught my attention.
The story I liked most was that of the dove because with that story taught me many values in my way as a person eh been changing more and more, as well as with that story taught me to want more animals, whether they are ugly, bad, etc..
because sometimes looks can be deceiving.

My favourite history is "the day i meet Sean Connery" because is a interesting history of effort and very easy to understand.
The history represents us, because
we do anything to complete our dreams.

andrina is set in orkney, a perfect location for this tak because of its mystical atmosphere.the haunting spiritual atmosphere created though the language George Mackay B. uses adds to the overall effect of the story. In the slort story an old seaman receive regular visits from a Joung lady, andrina. then onday sledoes, not cowe the same day the narrator falls ill. he soon recovers and goes in search of andrina whom he has wissed during his ill ness.

Village* who knows any thing about her. this increases the muystery surrounding her charater. Itis wat until the end of the story that he cliscovers that andrina is the ghost of his grand- daughter. This news come in a letter wich had remained unopened sence his illness... Midde of paper

My favourite character is Marina because she did many crazy things by seeing your favorite celebrity and for that she needed a lot of courage.
I think according to my opinion that the best history was "the day I met Sean Connory" because Marina wanted to see and talk with Sean and made things very fun to get, these things were what gave him a share of entertainment and excitement to the story.

My favorite story of the book is called “The day I met Sean Connery” because it is simple, funny and with a happy ending. And my favorite character of that story is called Marina, because she does everything to get what she wants, she has a great personality and courage to talk to a famous actor like if they were old friends. Her most precious desire was to meet the perfect man of her dreams and with a lot of imagination and personality she got what she wanted.

A Cup of Kindness is a good book because it contains several interesting stories. But the story that caught my attention was The Pigeon, since I like the attitude you have Jan with The Pigeon, and take care with The Pigeon I found cute and I understad his gesture because I love animals and would have done the sone in his place.

And my favorite story is "The day I meet Sean Connery" because that history show me we can do anything if we want like Marina. She, with all of her courage, she could see her favorite actor but she had to go through several complications but at the end she could meet Connery and that is what we have to do. We need to use all our courage and imagination for to do all what we want and do it correctly

My favorite character was Jan and the pigeon's history, because is a history too much sad where he did found a pigeon dying, Jan took care for the animal remembering about his dead daugther. The last moments of the pigeon were when he thought he hugged his daughter but ended up choking the little bird.

My favourite character is Jan because his story is very sad and shows a reality that happened ''recently'' and I can ''understand'' his sad lost. Besides, I like his carefulness with the pigeon because he not let him alone.

My favorite character is Jan because he samples the love you can feel for something that is not a human and the care we take with animals.
