Visit the fourth region
La Serena and the fourth region have many places to visit and enjoy, we nice beaches, a wonderful valley, and wonderful places such as restaurants, pubs, parks and so on. If you ask me, I would recommend visiting Guanaqueros and having lunch in one of the local typical restaurants.

Andacollo, is a small municipality mining area of the fourth region. I think that is very bored, because is very small and haven't many things which make, to exception of when is the small party and the big party, in this occasion many people visit to Andacollo, the majority with the end religious, but also arrive people only for the commerce. I don't like Andacollo.

La Serena is a city that all the holiday presents turistasm lot of that is obvious is a paradise in addition to having beautiful scenery, nice people and variety of products for every economic level.
The place I recommend on this occasion is the Elqui Valley, this beautiful place is a destination for many foreigners, Santiago tired of the smog of the capital.

Vicuña is the principal city of the Valle de Elqui. It is a commune in the province of Elqui. It is a picturesque town, where we can see adobe houses with a central square. Which houses the Centre Mamalluca Capel Pisco Plant, etc.
I like a lot because the city is quiet and where you can stroll calmly. When you need a good climate, attractive tourist spots such as museums or beautiful flora and fauna, Vicuña is the right place.

I recommend Elqui valley, because is a place with much peace, and ideal for relaxing. I think that is really perfect. The Elqui valley has camping-site, river for swiming or simply spend time entertaining with the family or friends.
In Elqui valley you can visit Montegrande, Paihuano, Vicuña and other. For example in Vicuña you can take homemade ice cream, are very delicious, in Montegrande, you should visit Gabriela Mistral's House, in Algarrobito you can buy Candied pawpaw, Nougat of pawpaw, pawpaw juice and others. Simply extraordinary.
Clearly.... I recommend Elqui Valley.

I recommend "Punta de Choros" because is a great place to visit, the main attraction are the dolphins, but also you can enjoy of seafood, tranquility, and the beautiful beaches.
in summer the temperature is warm, and the place is not dangerous.
My opinion is that it is a good place for to go with family.

The fourth region is a beautiful place to visit, thanks to his great climate.
One of his tourist attractions that I recommend is the valley of the elqui, with big places as the reservoir puclaro, paihuano.
Also vicuna exists, gabriela's place mistral, a stop in which we are eaten, beautiful squares, a typical place of the region, ice creams of cinnamon exicitos.
In the valley of the elqui we find an extensive river that crosses it, and podras to visit camping for the vacations, a great greenish landscape in montegrande and the great Sun.
It do not get lost visit valley of the elqui.

La Serena which is called the city of the blell trawer, in city the north, has a colonial style architecture, is the zone which are actractive to poeople, who live in populared, where in any epoch of the year the typical places tourists visit they are: La recova, Plaza de armas, Restaurants, The caracol, Municipality, The city museum, Mall,etc; very atractive an representative places. A very good place to enjoy is calera. Because in this place many attractive things and places exist to play, to rest, to play sports, etc.

The Molle is a very beautiful place, located in the Elqui valley. This place have camping-site. The people is very funny and you can eating swett that are very delicious. His church is veru old and his celebrations is very important for the region. I recommend this place !!!!!

The fourth region is a very beautiful place to know, I recommend if this for the zone to visit the peoples to the interior, as Vicuna since it is full of calm persons and panoramas entertained like to know the places where there grew and lived the writer and teacher Gabriela Mistral through new prize of literature. To know the observatory Mamalluca, to know the production of the grappa and to contemplate the beautiful landscape that the valleys offer.

I recommend visiting the Parque Fray Jorge, located in the IV Region of Coquimbo, 150 km south of La Serena. My best suggestion is to go to the Elqui Valley, especially in the summer time to enjoy the sun and the mystique that has all the scenery is beautiful with many green areas, going to the valley we can find many camping or cabins where can host so you can make better use of days in this beautiful place.

The fourth region in my opinion is apparently one of the best regions to visit and one of the best places is La Serena, because it has mall, beach, arcade, etc. also has a beautiful beach and the "Faro" can be seen from afar, so I advise to go to La Serena. Valle del Elqui, La Cruz del Tercer Milenio,Andacollo, etc
But my MOST favorite places are the different Beaches that our region offers them, because i think that few cities in the country has a this quality and amount of beaches.In the summer is THE BEST PANORAM (H)

My suggestion is that people visit Andacollo an old village full of history, which is very religious, we can realize this because it has a church and a cathedral, which are beautiful and very well done.
