The importance of new technology and communication has changed our world. We can know what is happening miles away from our country in the very moment. Cell phones, MP3's, notebooks, internet, etc are tools we must learn to use with responsibility. We can talk about a global village, in which you can interact with people from different countries and cultures, in order to do so we also need a common language and that language now is English.

Globalization is a good thing since it helps developing countries with technology and manufacture.
The incorporation of new communication nets, Internet and all these new things is a 'gift' of globalization. On the other hand, it's not a good idea since under developed countries have difficulties trying to keep up with it due to politics, economy, and other diverse factors...
Globalization to me is based in technology. What we are experiencing now would be impossible without the progress we have achieved in the last decades regarding transportation efficiency, reinforced by the communication revolution that allows us to send instant messages to other people and organizations throughout the world.

Globalization in literal sense is the process of globalizing, transformation if some things or phenomena into global ones. It can be described as a process bywich the people of the world are unified into a single society and functioning together. This process is a combination of economic, techonological, sociocultural and political forces.
For this is very important to society, because this integration make that has chances of jobs, most advanced technology, the comparison of differents cultures and others big exchanges, like: movements and social organizations of global proyection.

Globalization has positive and negative aspects: It's good because it's easier to communicate with each other and to know new cultures all around the world.
It helps us in our daily activities because of the new technologies, make it easier, and let us enjoy entertainment, arts, etc... easily.
But now...
-This way the copyright is getting lost, and the artist lose at the end.
-There are new jobs but a lot of people earn less money even if they work harder.
-People is getting a sedentary life and are becoming isolated.

Globalization is one of greatest advances of society and as all good things has it is disadvantages,
it is not the exception.
For my part. I believe it has brought more benefits than disadvantages.
For example the well-know benefits would be more notorious:
- A greater efficiency of the market that increases to it is
competition diminishing the monopolistic power.
- Impulses scientific-technical development to the lucrative being.
- Greater number of jobs.
- Faster information.
And some risk factors of globalization like:
- Concentration of the wealth and rising inequality.
- Increase of the economic, social and territorial imbalances.

I believe that really the english is the global language, since in the present, we can use it for to travel, to work, etc. To speak English is a great advantage at the present... ;)
Emm... I don´t understand why all the class speak about the globalization? but, insuring myself xD, this is my opinion:
Really I don't know much about the globalization, but I understand something... I believe that it is good, I suppose :S, because the new technology and the new forms of comunication have contributed in an important way to the development of the countries, and have improved the way of living of the persons...

Nowadays globalization has allowed all the people of the world to live other type of matters. I think that thanks to this; the technology is one of the things that has served us too much, so has media, one of the most important things is internet as it can inform us of all what happen in other countries, and at the time we communicate with other people, specially with our family, throug chat. Celphones, television, computer, among others, are part of our life, but i think that on one side is good, because it facilitates many things matter and life is more comfortable,and on the other part,for some people it is bad or boring because people get very consumer and materealistic.
