High School CEB

One of the most expected days of the week is Friday, school is over, you can have a rest and you don't have to wake up early. Some kids wait for parties, others hang out, some share with friends or family. What's your weekend routine? Do you go out? Are you a coach potato and just sit in front of the telly?

I'm sure that the greatest adventurer ever is Indiana Jones, he is cool, brave, nice and risky. He has face the german army, amazonian tribes and a lot of other dangers. Sparrow? Lara?, no, they are just little kids in front of Indy.

We all know the importance of speaking several languages, they are a key factor, a door to a lot of opportunities in life, but How do we chileans face English?, Is it nice and easy? or Is it a barrier we have to overcome?

During your life time you suffer a lot of changes, specially at key stages of life. Adolescence is one of the most critical ones. I used to be a very quiet boy, so serious and silent that it was very hard for me to share with other people, after a long time and some years of maturing I changed my character, interests and overcame that aspects of my personality.
Have you changed during these few years? Is there anything you would like to change? What's your opinion?

A long time ago a friend of mine told me I looked like the American actor Peter Coyote, Why? I don’t know….. I don’t like him, I haven’t seen his films and now I was almost his clone! Have you ever suffered this experience? Has someone ever told you "Oh!, you are similar to …", Do your friends call you by the name of a famous person? or Do you just want to be like your favorite singer?

All of us have the secret desire to live an adventure, to feel the excitement, emotions and adrenaline produced by a dangerous and unknown experience. Some have dreamt exploring mysterious and dangerous places, others maybe saving the world or perhaps to the ones who like something more secure just practicing an extreme sport.
I would love to be a high-tech spaceship pilot on a mission to the outer space. What’s your most secret adventure you would like to live? Tell us your dream.

Every person has different ways to live life and see the world. Some of them live very close to nature, others prefer to live close to technology and its latest gadgets, others like to live a life around money and work, each life style determines how you relate to others and of course your objectives in life. How’s your life style like? Do you like the way live?

The importance of new technology and communication has changed our world. We can know what is happening miles away from our country in the very moment. Cell phones, MP3's, notebooks, internet, etc are tools we must learn to use with responsibility. We can talk about a global village, in which you can interact with people from different countries and cultures, in order to do so we also need a common language and that language now is English.
